Every season brings something different to the Valley . No matter what season you’ll visit you will have a cherished and unique experience. And since it's winter, let’s talk about what activities we can still enjoy during this season. Winter takes over after autumn in the months of June, July and August. The middle part of the winter is intensely cold, but as spring comes, it also gradually warms up. Other than that the temperature ranges from 7 degrees Celsius to 18 degrees Celsius. Winter in the wine country is a spectacular time of the year, boasting clear blue skies and moderate temperatures during the day. At night you can snug up in front of the comfy fireplace and warm up with a hearty local food to beat the night chill. During winter, the Hunter Valley is transformed into a winter wonderland with fog throughout the vineyards. It does not happen in most of the tropical areas of the planet and is mostly associated with plunging temperatures and icy weather. Winter comes from an old Germanic word that means "time of water" and refers to the rain and snow of winter in middle and high latitudes. We all know of the fact that there are a bunch of things to hate about winter. There's just a little glimpse of the sun, it's colder outside. It's difficult to exercise because you'll surely don't want to inhale harder when your boogers are wintry. Cold winters can quickly bring serious medical conditions, such as hypothermia and frost bite. Hypothermia is when a human's body drops its normal temperature.
